What is different about this market.
Scotland is a genuinely separate market and it is worth treating it as one. Building standards, property law and a good deal of consumer regulation differ from England and Wales, so copying an English competitor's copy can leave you making claims that are not accurate north of the border.
Tenement and common-repair arrangements in the cities, plus long travel distances outside them, shape both the work and how customers search for it. The site should be explicit about what you handle and how far you will go.
Distance is not the issue in Scotland; specificity is. A trade covering Edinburgh and the Lothians is in a different market from one covering the Highlands, and a site that blurs the two ranks for neither. We would rather build six pages that are true than twenty that are padding, and we will tell you which six.
